Friday, June 9, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Informal day. A chance for people to come out and learn how to fly kites. Concessions.

On Saturday and Sunday the festival officially starts at 10:300 a.m., but you are welcome to come set up and start flying as early as you want.

We usually wrap up around 4:00 p.m.

Field Details

You know best where to set up safely, so we will not dictate where to set up. The demonstration field will likely be in front of the DJ tent. Guest fliers may have their vehicles on the flying field (preferably on the perimeter) if needed. Stakes of any size are allowed. The west side has some overhead wires, but they are not live.

Sunday Morning

For those inclined, here is a list of local churches.

A word to guests from other states -- under North Dakota law most businesses cannot open until noon on Sunday (that includes Walmart.) If you need something before you head out to the flying field, try a gas station or grocery store.

Sunday Evening

We will get together after the Sunday fly for food and fun. Let us know whether you plan to join us.

What Else to Do

Why would you want to do anything other than fly kites?
